The Hurricane Open Fisherman is made of thermoformed ABS Trilon plastic, making it stronger than fibreglass and other composites and lighter, smoother and more abrasion resistant than polyethylene plastics. It offers comfort, ease of paddling, and ample stability for stand-up sight casting. 

The standard model comes loaded with 5 rod holders, built in paddle park, recessed areas for tackle boxes, milk crates, and coolers, comfortable Seat with supportive backrest and interior non slip surface 

The Open Fisherman comes with a rudder.
